Public Input Wanted as Beltrami County Updates Hazard Mitigation Plan

Bemidji Township Notice of Annual Meeting, Election of Officers and Board of Canvass Meeting March 10th, 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the Qualified voters of Bemidji Township, County of Beltrami, State of Minnesota, That the Annual Township Meeting will be held on Tuesday March 10th, 2026, At the Bemidji Township Town Hall, 148 Carr Lake Rd. SE Bemidji, MN 56601. In case of inclement weather, The meeting and election may be postponed until the third Tuesday in March. The Election Poll Hours will be open from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., At which time the voters will elect: Two Town Supervisors, 3-year term, Position A and Position B, The Annual Meeting will commence at 8:15P.M. To conduct all necessary business prescribed by law. The Board of Canvass will meet on March 10th, 2026, following the Annual Meeting to certify the official Election Results.

The Bemidji Township Townhall will be open on Saturday March 7th, 2026 from 10:00 A.M to Noon for March Town election Absentee Voting.

The Bemidji Township Townhall will also be open on Monday March 9th, 2026, from 10:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M for March Town election Absentee Voting.

The Bemidji Township Planning and Zoning Commission will hold the scheduled monthly meeting on March 3rd, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. at the Bemidji Township Town Hall located at 148 Carr Lake Rd. SE Bemidji, MN 56601.

Bemidji Township residents should contact the Animal Control Officer Keith Christianson (218) 760-6651 if they lose a dog or if the dog was impounded. If Mr. Christianson does not answer, please contact the Beltrami County Sheriff's Department as they may have information on said dog that was impounded or lost.

  • January 13th, 2026
  • February 10th, 2026 (Board of Audit one hour prior to the regular meeting starting at 5:00P.M.)
  • March 9th, 2026
  • March 10th, 2026-Township Election 5:00-8:00 P.M.-Board of Canvass & Annual meeting to commence right after polls close.
  • April 14th, 2026 (Yearly Restructuring meeting one hour prior starting at 5:00P.M.)
  • April 23rd, 2026 @ 9:00 A.M.-Board of Appeal & Equalization
  • May 12th, 2026
  • June 9th, 2026
  • July 14th, 2026
  • August 11th, 2026
  • September 8th, 2026
  • October 13th, 2026
  • November 10th, 2026
  • December 8th, 2026

All meetings are scheduled to start at 6:00 P.M. unless noted otherwise.
