Public Input Wanted as Beltrami County Updates Hazard Mitigation Plan

The Bemidji Township Planning and Zoning Commission will hold the scheduled monthly meeting on May 5th, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. at the Bemidji Township Town Hall located at 148 Carr Lake Rd. SE Bemidji, MN 56601.

The Bemidji Township Board of Supervisors decided at their Board Meeting held April 14th, 2026, that they would not be conducting an annual road review for the year of 2026. The Township Road committee member Floria has been doing an excellent job reviewing roads and signs throughout the Township.

Bemidji Township is currently requesting Letters of Support for those who utilize the Farmers Beach Park. The park is located on Jackson Ave. SW. The Township is requesting these Letters of Support to acquire funding to rebuild Jackson Ave. SW starting from North Plantagenet Road to the Farmers Beach Park. Letters may be mailed to 148 Carr Lake Rd. SE or emailed to bemtwnsp@PaulBunyan.net. If you need an example of what a letter of support may conclude but is not limited to please call the Townhall office at 218-333-3617. Or you may stop the Townhall Monday-Friday 10:00 A.M – 2:00 P.M.

Bemidji Township residents should contact the Animal Control Officer Keith Christianson (218) 760-6651 if they lose a dog or if the dog was impounded. If Mr. Christianson does not answer, please contact the Beltrami County Sheriff's Department as they may have information on said dog that was impounded or lost.

  • April 14th, 2026 (Yearly Restructuring meeting one hour prior starting at 5:00P.M.)
  • April 23rd, 2026 @ 9:00 A.M.-Board of Appeal & Equalization
